Is it made in China? If so then no I would not. If not then, go for it if you'd like... but I have purchased several helmets, and the more I spend the happier I am with the product and quality. Like others have said, you only have one head, so don't skimp out.
I'm very familiar with ISO. I'm also aware that the auditors that give you your flag are not as daft as you have suggested. Having had to deal with them personally, its not that simple.
If you find they are selling a known product, check the product ID # and compare it to what a dedicated store sells. It will sometimes be different by 1 letter or number somewhere in the 10 to 15 digit ID. This denotes that the product has something different, maybe a plastic piece instead of a metal piece somewhere in the design. This keeps costs down.
On my short time on this planet I have yet to see a product made in China that has been of better quality then that of one made in Italy, Japan, Canada, or the US. Think what ever you want to justify saving a couple bucks.
^1 wait till he actually starts looking at everything he owns... like on TBBT "No wait, lets see how long it takes him"Got a mac or an iphone?

but I'm saying where the option is available, I don't mind paying more for better quality.
Apple, meet Zero_5; Zero_5, meet the best quality phone/tablet company in the world (courtesy of Chinese manufacturing and innovation).
According to? Just curious, what brand of helmet do you trust to protect that intellegent little mind of yours?
Spelling>me...... but back on topic, thanks for adding your input on helmets. Go run along and play with your iPad.
You do realize that ISO9000 adherance simply means that they have to follow only what they themselves have written down as their own processes. Simply put, they do what they say they are going to do. If they write down that as quality control that employee A polishes the helmet with their forehead then that's a pass.

Anyway, the question is whether you would buy a helmet from CT. Thousands of articles/forum posts on helmet recommendations and it always come down to an individual choice of cost, comfort and quality you are happy with.
It's not the flash. It's called the "Classic Star" paint scheme.New this spring.Cool huh?
