Heading south has anyone rented a bike in the Mayan rivira ? Where's the best spot? How much should I expect to pay ? Etc. Any input would be helpful

Why would you want to ride in that crime infested cesspool? Is it worth risking your life just for a ride?
Why people go to places like this is beyond me.
I have many times but only scooters, its fairly safe. Mayan Riviera is basically one straight road, you can probably go to the ruins, Xcaret, its about an hr to Cancun etc. They all charge the same, I think last time was like 60 bucks for a full day.Heading south has anyone rented a bike in the Mayan rivira ? Bring one of those personal gps units with you, that way when Mexican gangsters bury you in the desert, local authorities can find your body and ship you back to Canada.
Don't be stupid, don't go to Mexico if you value your life.
Someone's been watching a lot of CNN
And somebody's been living a pipe dream wealthy society fairytale. Clueless Canadian who thinks the whole world outside of Canada and other safe and rich societies is all flowers, rainbows and birds chirping. Your life in a brutal, corrupt and crime infested place such as Mexico is about as worth as a life of a squirrel up here in Canada, crossing the roadway.
There is no such a thing as a safe place in Canada neither. Anything can happen anywhere, I would however feel more safe on playa car or Xcaret than I would feel in Jane and FinchThere is no such thing as a safe place down there.

I can bet you that on high season, there are more Canadians than any other culture in Mayan Riviera, can not say the same about TorontoThis is true, but it is simply not debatable when it comes to countries such as Mexico, Canada and Mexico are two completely different worlds/societies. It's like the difference between the Moon and the Sun.
