This #$%^ is crazy. They may as well just jack it up to $2, people will pay what they need to to get around. We need government regulated fixed pricing. I know its asking too much as its based on a global situation but common.

Already filled up today. Runnymede and st clair seems to always have the best pricing. Paid 1.31/L

FMC (where C = car)

No dude, no government intervention please, they will add a levy for intervening + some tax just because and the new price per liter will be $3.00

Every level of our government is fail. Relying on them to do anything will lead to your doom. Either change lifestyles: move close to work and work where everything is walking distance or suck it up.

I guess the Chevy volt isn't looking too bad now.

last year it was at $.96 LMAO

And we're an oil-producing nation.. It would be nice if we had some local refineries

Keep driving the price up.

Less traffic on the DVP the better.

Survival of the richest.

We do? One in Nanticoke (10 min from port dover) which 85% of it's product is gasoline. And Another one in Sarnia. And some petro refineries as well...

Not enough to satisfy our market, obviously. That's one of the things driving up the prices.. Processing costs.

Greedy oil companies.

Makes me want to take the transit all over again. *Sigh*

Doesn't really work like that home boy. When the barrel has a high cost refineries lose money on processing (but the upstream makes money hand over fist). I've explained it on here before.

This is still one of the cheapest countries in the world to buy gasoline. I advise stop whining and STFU.

edit:
It doesn't matter how many refineries we have or how much oil we produce. None of that is nationalised and we don't have our own oil bourse either. The companies that refine that sell it on the market at market prices. So STFU some more :)
