New fluid and bleed your brakes

Sounds like you have air in the break line or old fluid in the line. I would go for Bel-Ray DOT 4 Brake Fluid for the flush. I would also take apart the calipers and clean around the push pins. Over time dirt can build up causing uneven wear.

save your dough get it all at crappy tire

+1
I use the CT dot 4 for my car & bike & doesnt make a difference

this might sound stupid better ask. do I have to bleed the fluid from one side then do the same thing on the other side, since there are 2 sides to it.

i think i figured it out just hope i can tell when the old fluid is completely out and new fluid starts to come so when to stop

and also couple of people mention that i have to flush and bleed the brakes, would flushing the whole thing will get rid of the air in the line.

When the fluid starts to appear clear or the consistency of new fluid

U need to make sure all bubbles are out. Flush until no apparent bubbles

so I flushed front and rear brakes, My front brake has similar issue that i was experiencing before that brakes do not engage till my lever is pressed half way and then it starts and its good but it seems to close to the throttle. what else do you guys think I should check to resolve that?????

Did you bleed the master?

Also those bikes are known for sticking calipers, a lot of crud gets deposited on the pistons causing a soft lever.

I thought flushing the fluid from the res through bleeding nipples would get rid of the air. no??

I will check the calipers and clean it

Air bubbles get trapped at the top of the master.

You have to old school bleed it from the banjo bolt.
