ZX14: Tell me about yours

reliability is great, but that can be said about most japanese bikes, this is my 2nd 14 ,had a 2007 first now a 2012,my gen 1 weighed 555 stock with a full tank of gas, got it down to 500 lbs.My gen 2 weighed 584 wet ,got it down to 511lbs wet,.my exhaust plays havoc with soft bags.Three day weekend 2295 km.Oxford tank bag and olio 22litre back pack, brought with me two complete change of clothes, rain gear, sweatshirt, chain lube, shaving kit,my major complaint no room for beer or food,If your over 6ft some guys complain about leg room that unfortunately is not me I'm vertically challenged.Distance range on a 22litre tank with spirited riding is about 300km when you hit reserve
,you have about 4 litres left.If you ride normal you could easily do the 381 km stretch from mattagami to the kilometre 381 on the james bay highway.Im on my 4th set of tires in 17000 km,I have had metzlers ,corsa III's,Rosso Corsa's,now trying the Angel GT

Dyno's are tool, mine has had over 60 runs on the Hindle dyno205 hp,SAE corrected,Brock Davidson has Hindle exhaust making those pipes,,must be the reason they are so good, any how the 14 is a great bike anyway you want to ride it

Well, yes, that's why I posted it, the guy chuckles at how awesome the bike is and how they are getting such results from stock.

If you follow the Brock info you will find 0 weight Alison oil and a non o-ring chain used, over 200 SAE corrected horse is pretty honest with a tune and a pipe, with a flashed ECU(raised redline)you can get a little more with good tuning on a flashed ECU you can get the smoothest air fuel ratio I've ever seen.lee Pritchards 1/4's are honest he could probably give Gadson a hard time.In Milton ontario there is a gentleman named Harry Manovick if you want horsepower on a zx 14 call him

I don't want to hear **** like this again -_-

The bike does not make the rider.

Why don't you contribute something worthwhile to the question rather than putting in an opinion no 1 cares about.

Hey man, what do I know...I just ride a scooter.

You probably don't know what you ride. After all you came to the conclusion mine is a tourer so I couldn't expect you to know what class your bike falls into. But whatever it is I'm sure I've seen it the moto gp and you as the rider. Just sayin. :lmao:

I thought you already stated I ride a scooter to which I agreed with you...you seem to confuse yourself quite often it would seem.
