YOU DROP IT, YOU BUY IT...female buyer's test ride...

I listed my ninja 250 for sale...***LOWERED*** and i get a whole bunch of interested female buyers.

First buyer comes to me with cash in hand to test ride (because she's from far away 1.5hr drive). Beforehand, i did mentioned, there is no test ride in case you drop the bike, otherwise you must bring full payment, and she did.

I got cash in my hand. She had full gear on and was ready to go. Nothing can go wrong eh?

She stepped into first gear and bike stalled. She forgot to pull clutch  I was worried for my bike right at that moment.

Anyhow, long story short.

She came back and said "well, i'm taking it"....a moment of joy. And then she said "I dropped your bike"...a moment of shock.

She said "I was at a stop sign, started to make a left turn, and I fell."

The damages were typical: cosmetic damages on left fairings, lever and handle bar ends, broken left signal light, streak mark on left rear tire etc...

THE ONLY THING QUESTIONABLE WAS ------> why is there a dent in the middle of the tank??

Can anyone please tell me based on the damages?

Thanks in advance.

Yeah that dent looks odd. Since the rider was a girl, I'd say a belt buckle. Licenses are way too easy to get these days.

Did you try asking her? Obviously she is not going to hide anything as she bought it.

Maybe she was a he and really hit that tank hard?

Who cares. Hopefully you took her money beforehand, and she now owns it.

Funny thing, guy asked to test ride a bike this week. I say no dice until payment is mine hand.
He says " bro i ride a 1000 cc bike on the streets, and have been riding for years"
Me . " perfect nothing can go wrong than !"
Him. "forget it than, no ride no cash"

Too many horror stories of people crashing or plain out stealing bikes when selling stuff these days. Pure example right here.

Maybe she was a man, and had BALLS OF STEEL!

she was definitely wearing a strap-on when she slammed on the front brakes
maybe she did a stoppie from slamming on the front brakes too hard and it tipped over to the left after

Chastity belt?

That's a weird place for a dent...what're you replacing the Ninja with!? Didn't you just get it??

Good on you for thinking ahead and asking for a deposit before riding.

However, I would still be a big nervous letting someone ride the bike on public roads because if she would have hit a car, it would be on your insurance record.

Dent is just like a tank slapper one. She probably kicked it when it was down and yelled "Oh Fudge"!

Belt buckle? I'd be limping big time if my belt buckle hit something hard enough to do that. And where are the scratches. What does Kawi make their tanks from? No, I'm calling "athletic cup". Did you notice a hint of Adam's apple on this buyer?

pelvic bone-r

Yeah she definitely had a hard one from riding.
Doesn't this happen to everyone else as well?
My tank is practically inside out now.

 I would've lost it

What business does she have test riding a bike when she obviously doesn't know how to ride  so dumb

She's going to have to remove her pants to get a good grip on that dent to pull it out.

Thats why i wouldnt test drive it myself cuz i'm a noob. I will bring my experienced friend.

Anyway, its good that you were fully prepared for such situation and she was a reliable buyer.
