Its friday.....I'm definitely getting a happy ending tonight.
IIRC they came from one pelt, shearling not bear, and there was enough left for a guitar strap.
Made these myself. Materials would have come from Tandy Leather way back when, when they were on King Street near Malabar. I would date these to being older than when you were a twinkle in your dad's eye.
I suppose you could add cuffs to a pair of off-the-shelf shearling gloves, or better to DIY if you can find a pelt. The cuffs are just to keep the wind from blowing up your sleeves so could be made with any piece of leather.
