Yamaha R6 Height

I am 5'1" and ride a GSXR 750. Lowered it 1 inch and got myself a pair of Daytona boots with "height enhancement" built in. Still not flat foot but certainly I have no concerns. I can not imagine you having much issue at 5'9" but regardless, do what you feel to be necessary to make your bike comfortable for you and give you the confidence you need.

Its more about the inseam length than the riders actual height.

I realise that but the guy says he can tippy toe two feet and is comfortable on one. That is pretty normal for most average height riders.

Judging by your username... your a female. Females tend to have a much longer inseam lol. When i was buying my Ninja 250 @ Kahuna, i sat on it and this girl shorter than me sat on the one beside me and she can flat foot both while i tippy toed... So unfair :(

I have lowered 2006-10 R6's for my wife in street and race trim. I always use the adjustable lower links to have full control of the optimal height. If you keep the balance of the bike by lowering the front as indicated earlier in the thread it will still perform well. I always test ride my wife's bike at the track and it is a weapon and it is lowered about 1.5". Make sure to check your Sag numbers once you have the desired height.
