I'm sure the investigation is ongoing. All the facts aren't there yet so it's probably premature to make any judgements..but man..just makes me shake my head..
 
Condolences to the officers friends and family. God damn young offenders act will let this kid off. Legally they can't identify the youth, but identifying the parents of the youth that was driving a stolen minivan full of friends around at 5:00 tuesday morning may make some parents care more.

Very unfortunate RIP- heard about this on CP24 today

A was speaking with a cop friend that works downtown and he said sticking your hand in to try and grab the keys is a no no..even if it isnt a no no i would think it was a pretty poor decision, especially for someone with 7 years experience. Like why would you try and do that?
 
So sad for his children and wife :( R.I.P.... That's a terrible way to die.

RIP and condolences to the family. The little punk that caused this tragedy will have a wheelchair to remind him of the 2 stupid mistakes that he made, for the rest of his life.
