Wrong gas !!!! :( -_-

If you had no choice and were that concerned just dont take the bike wide open throttle to red line. I've seen someone run 87 in a D675 and it not blow up, but unfortunately there is no way to know for certain how close you are to detonation. Im fairly confident in saying most production bikes arent built to the limit of how much spark advance 91 octane can handle, but you are somewhat playing with fire.

Now if you're asking and have no idea what octane means, you should google it and then my response will probably make more sense.

partssource sells a shake syphon tune. basically has a ball and brass cap on one end, you stick that in the tank and give it a shake and itll start sucking on its own. you should be able to get 95% of the fuel out of your tank with that, put in some 91 and go about your day. even if your bike is setup to run on 91 and you run 87 you should still be safe putting around town on low octane fuel, just dont start rolling high in to the revs. the only issues id see would be if you were running a higher compression motor.

I generally use Shell Vpower in both of my bikes primarily because it has 0% ethanol content. The '87 is tolerant of ethanol but I prefer not to risk damage to the rubber components on the engine because of its age. As for the V7, it can take most any grade because the engine is a low compression old school design. Detonation is unlikely.
