WR 250 F street legal??

Hello, sorry if this is a stupid question but I have seen a few Yamaha wr 250 "dirtbikes" with road tires for sale on kijiji and they are supposedly street legal. I have an 03 Wr 250 F and was just wondering if it was possible to put it on the road? Thanks!
 
No, you cannot legally convert dirt bike to street legal anymore.
 
some WR's are street legal from the dealer, if it is not alsready legal for the street, there is not way to get it blue-plated.
 
Some bikes were grandfathered in before they stopped allowing it. If its blue plated now, it will be forever... last I heard anyways.
 
As it has been said already you can no longer blue plate a off road bike unless it was converted prior to the rules changing. You can buy WR250R dual sport and WR250X supermoto bikes that are street legal. Completely different bikes then the F's though.
