wow, unbelievable how badly bell sucks

You're right, but Bell has been at the forefront of bad CSR service for quite a few years. Something about getting what you pay for.

I'll never in a million years go back to Bell. Dealing with their CSRs was an exercise in pointless futility. I left them almost 3 years ago and I still get spam in the mail begging me to come back with lines like "We miss you! Save 30% off your home phone for a year!etc"

I say save the money on stalking me with your creepy cards and re-invest it into customer service for your CURRENT customers.

I'm sure I could tell you quite a few bell horror stories. I was a customer of theirs for 10 years, I left them 3 years ago and I'm never going back.

If the CSR didn't waive the $20 fee, who's to say it's not because of upper management? For all we know, upper management "allows" you to waive fees, but scrutinizes you every time you do. I think Bell upper management is hiding behind the bad judgement of the CSR and now that they're caught red faced, are blaming the CSR for "not making the right call".

The bottom line is that Bell, as a whole, needs to get their **** together.

Where did the "hate" come from.

Like any business, We love anybody who drops money at our establishment. There is no hate.

very true and well said, i believe this to be true. happens in every organization.

the people that don't buy aren't liars tho!

the solution is clear!!!

Because of that as soon as an issue comes up its in the police and social services hands within an hour and in 24 hours its been sorted out.

imagine all the public money that would be saved if adults could just grow up and be adults.

(not knocking your friends, but every unreasonable, selfish moron out there)

Of course! Sell to the people who don't buy.

.... but then the people who buy won't be buying....

.... and the people who don't buy will be buying....

.... but they can't, because then they won't be buying.....

My big thing from this is you can apparently google and look up escort agencies in the phone book? Why are these places even allowed to go up? They sell sex which is prostitution... why aren't they shut down and so out in the open?

Poor girl getting calls like that from perverts. I wonder if Roasted called jk!

Because prostitution isn't illegal...

Hilarious where this thread has went ... from a simple "customer service failure" to "prostituion isn't illegal".

You cannot get that kind of broad coverage anywhere else than GTAM. And all of that for free ... :-)

The family should have capitalized on this fantastic opportunity. They should have given the phone to mom, and put her to work. What a shame; all that free advertising just thrown away.

but the solicitation of it is. By that count it should not be allowed, right?

only in public. The illegality is targeted at prostitutes coming up to indivduals in public places. the law targets the "nuisence" aspect of it, not the behaviour.

You can freely solicit for sex in non-public places.

In any event, if you have been following the news, it might all be stuck down anyway.

They aren't soliciting sex. You are buying time with a person. If during that time, they solicit sex, that could be illegal. It's like renting a lambo from gtaexotics, sure you could do lots of illegal things with it, but renting it is not illegal in itself.
