Thought about that situation multiple times when out riding in the country, and even had a tractor trailer pull the same **** on me. Always figured i'd go for the ditch...

This is the stupidest situation you could be put in where your decision wouldn't matter as it would be a 100% gamble of what the other driver would do. If they go for the ditch and you do, you collide. If you swerve toward the other lane to try to avoid them, they might do so as well. So in the end, you end up hoping for the best that you and the other driver don't collide... I tend to slow down a bit on crests hoping that there isn't a driver coming at me from the other direction when I ride up north knowing that even if I do slow down, it probably would not have made a difference in the end.

My eyes went wide open when i saw the car split the rider by going into the dirt, my first watch i didn't watch to the end, but then i did and holy crap the car ended up the ditch :O ..

Glad the rider and his buddy are ok !! . Can't believe someone would be so stupid !!

Honestly, I feel safer going balls out doing 100' jumps with 40 other crazy idiots on the MX track than I do riding on the street when there are other vehicles around.
