Look at the wear...any reason not to buy em for that price??

Would you advise against used pads? is there any danger in the way they were treated? like track use vs street, etc?

They look fine, I buy most of my parts used. Oil too.

I'd never buy used consumables, especially brake pads. Keep in mind that pads should be properly bedded into the rotor. Used pads could also potentially damage your rotor.

bam! thanks for that.
I didnt even think of that situation.

thats a good point to all i suppose.

You can see lots of grooves in the pads in the first pic, not sure you'd get great performance out of them with your rotors.

I bought used oil once, on my old bike. My friend was changing his Amsoil MCF full synth every 3000km's. I told him to save his old oil for me. Ran it in my R6S, after 2k in my bike I did UOA w/TBN, was like new. Check it after 5k (so 8k total), still flawless. Check it at 10k (so 13k total) and it was in the "acceptable" range but I changed it anyway :) After I showed him the tests he quit changing it at 3k so I lost my supply of free "almost new" oil :(

lol did you stock up on used oil during that time? At that rate he should've gone through 3 or 4 changes by then

No reason not to use them at that price. Those things are so over engineered they would be fine for commuting or the occasional foray into the twisties. Track riding? Not so much.

He rode a lot less than I did. I do 15k a season, him like 3k :( lol.

i would use old break pads if i was 2 hours from home and i was running metal to metal, why not save the rotors and your life.

I will sell u my used Amsoil out of the bike. I change it every month or 3 track days. $30/ gal.
Can u flash Honda ECU's ?

Yeah little pricy though. Moto mummy wants 400+ to send ecu to them. To rich for my blood.
Yeah. I was going to pickup the Suzuki equipment but I have to pay them a license fee for each bike I flash, where as with flash-tune it's a one time investment in the hardware. Software updates, dyno tuned map downloads, tech support, etc. free for life. That's more my style.

Still thinking about the gixxer flash equip though, I have SOOOO many gixxers that want flashed, track and street.
