Good going. As for registration - could have been in inventory for years before they cut deal with the school. I'd not worry.
It's at it's platform price. Not gonna change much.
Wife and daughter are looking forward to taking the MSF course, and getting out on the road. They are having a blast at the local school parking lot.
Took the bike out, on the 410 earlier this week. Definitely some clutch slippage at traffic flow speeds, in 5th.
Guess I'll pull it apart this weekend, and take a look at the clutch plates.
Being a MC instructor myself I have considered the purchase of one of the bikes. One thing I can be assured of is the maintenance is done weekly and although there may be a few cosmetically altered parts the bikes are mechanically in top condition having know the history I would feel the same as buying an ex-police bike.
I have been always reminded of the fact that your first bike is never your last bike. The key is to get something that is good on insurance and that you are comfortable with. Eventually you will look to move onward and upward.
