Worst places to live in the GTA

We all know of the good places to live in the GTA.
Namely: Markham, Richmond Hill, Downtown (mostly), beaches, and Rosedale.

So any opinions on the worst areas in the GTA?

Let me just state the obvious.

Jane/Finch, Cabbagetown, and Cresent Town.

Please add inputs, thanks!!

Condo.

GTA anywhere is horrible relative to anywhere else I've been in Canada. Ontario is bar none the worst province, but I've never been to New Brunswick so I'm not 100%. Jane and Finch or Bridal Path doesn't make much difference to me. You'd still be surrounded with A-holes. Every time I go out on a ride, I don't want to come back. Physiologically, there's a reason the tallest building in Canada is situated where it is... everyone's phallus is near their anus.

All depends what you're looking for. From your list, I would not want to live in either Markham or Richmond Hill. Frankly, I don't really see the appeal of typical suburban living. I would not want to live in one.

My list:
Yonge/Eglinton
Yonge/Lawrence
Bayview/Eglinton
Beach
Queen West West
King West
High Park
Ossington
Junction
Annex
Bloor West Village

I'm missing a few.

Woah Harsh.... feeling homesick eljay? lol.

Brampton. 100 square mile dumpster. Went to the RBC @ Dixie+Orenda today, and someone had tossed an empty 1L oil container on the walkway. An oil container. Really. The entire city is strewn with litter.

I did pass BrianP towing his FZR on his way out of town on Steeles this afternoon. That made me smile. Best view of the place - in your rear view mirror.

...Really?

I really like High Park, see it hasn't been mentioned.

ALL of GTA. i lived in GTA, south Etobicoke to be exact since i was 13 when i moved to Canada up until last year, when i turned 30....To be honest, i got used to it, the ****** off commuters, the rude people...i moved away from GTA to Tottenham and commuted to Bolton and back for 8 months and got used to the peace and quiet, neighbours waving at each other etc etc, the way Toronto was 20 years ago.

I now work by Canadas Wonderland right at the edge of the madness but due to work have to drive all over GTA and i hate it. I cant wait to get back out....Its like walking into a washroom that some dude just destroyed after a night of tacos and burritos....you get in, do your business and get the fark out!!

Between Hamilton on the west to Peterborough on the east and north to Barrie is pretty bad.

You figured right...small town Ontario is where it's at.

This is a tricky question and you'll find good/bad anywhere you go.
You can be in a "rough" area one minute, cross the street and be into 700-800k homes and never know the ghetto was behind you unless you had a reason to venture in.

Any time your looking to move ALWAYS scope the area at different times of the day and week.
You can also look on the TPS website and see a mapping of where and what kind of crimes have been committed in certain areas.
