I tried that one and it’s hit and miss….got the Philippines in one go as there’s not that many multi-small-island silhouettes and then Kazakhstan in…never.

People developed a system when Wordle started out. There are a couple of words that have lots of vowels in them. Since the NYT took over, they seem to have made it harder and the old systems weren't working, so a random guess might get you further ahead. It helps when the word is a nickname I use for my little brother.

I tried that one and it’s hit and miss….got the Philippines in one go as there’s not that many multi-small-island silhouettes and then Kazakhstan in…never.

Hey, I got lucky with Kazakhstan in two tries, but usually strike out on the smaller African countries and the tiny island nations that I've never heard of. Using the distances and directions you can usually narrow it down as long as you have a general idea of where things are, but some will definitely be stumpers. I actually like the ones I don't get, as I now know about the existence of places like Palau and the French Southern and Antarctic Lands

Then you get Monaco, which I knew instantly...
