Winterizing my bike

Hey all just have a few questions with the winterizing procedure for my bike, just picked it up last night and storing it at a storage facility indoors in a climate controlled area. Question is is there a need to put fuel stabilizer in it since it's not being exposed to the outdoor temperatures and should I still disconnect the battery or not?

Its mid february I think you're wasting your brain cells even thinking about this.
 
Fuel stabalizer isnt for the cold. if you plan on the bike sitting for an extended period of time...put it in. its cheap. as for the battery its a toss up. I know people who leave it in the bike all winter and dont worry about it. I take my batteries out and trickle charge them in my workroom.

Like I said, I just got the bike yesterday, knowing that it's still a few months before the decent weather is here to stay I wasn't sure if I should still "winterize" it or not since it's going to be sitting for a few months still.

Add the stabilizer and make sure the tank is topped up if it's metal. A partially filled tank invites rust over time. May as well pick up a battery tender now since you'll be using it again next winter anyway. Might want to consider picking up stands to get the wheels off the ground too. Not long before we'll be riding again but nothing wrong with winterizing anyway. If nothing else it's good practice.
 
The weather is kick *** out there, why winterize?!?!? I haven't put the bike away for longer than a week this entire winter!

I was just thinking yesterday why I winterized my bike this winter at all. Weather for the most part has been pretty damn rideable.
 
I decided instead to do a quick tune up on her and took it for a quick spin, worst idea ever cause now I have the "itis" to keep going back to the storage place and keep riding lol
