Lol,i think i have a sock fetish.There is usually about 30 pairs of "in use" socks in my drawers.They never get worn spots in them.And there are about 10 pairs still in wrappers.

I will gladly relieve you of a few pairs.

a) I hate socks and rarely wear them

b) when forced to ( riding boots ) I get a fav pair and run them to ground.

What type of bike to you have and do you have a windsheld attaced to your handle bars?
I rode mY GS500F at 100km in 60 km wind Guests. Found that keeping the Revs above 6K improved the road holding and did cause the bike to wobble.
Love the fixed fairing on the bike.

Wind? Cold?

Brings flashbacks...Riding through South Dakota in 60 mph cross/head winds with 80mph gusts.

"Chickened out" and called it quits only after hitting the median rumble strips at full lean....ever get rid of your chicken strips while going straight? lol

Got up there last night - near 40 knots again in gusts - took our power out.

On my 650R I haven't had problems on days where the wind was reported as "up to 80 kph". Any higher than that and I stay off the road though.

So far rain is still my least favorite to ride in.

Opposite for me. I don't mind the rain at all. It's the wind that I hate.
