Hey great idea I will try that at gas stations, restaurants, clothing stores. Tell me more how to not follow the crowd please please!!!

Wi-fi on the plane but every flight starts out with the customary warning of "please turn off all electronic devices as it may interfear with the flight controls" ???
 
Who cares about the Wi-Fi. Were there any snakes?
 
The infrastructure for plane wifi is pretty expensive.. Involves both satellites and ground stations. If people are willing to pay for it, why not. I don't see a need for it, so I just stock up on movies or e-books in case they don't have enough movies I'd wanna watch.
 
I was on a Lufthansa flight 2 years ago when they were piloting this out and I remember thinking to myself "there goes my free time".
