Wide rear view mirror attached to windshield.

$90?! I've picked one up for 20ish at Canadian Tire

Let us know what you find out/what you actually think of it if you get one -- I was mulling it over a while back when I first saw that video.

As for putting the little convex mirrors on instead, imo all the ones at CT, Walmart, etc are so big they'd cover 50% of your actual mirror. I thought about adding them, but unless I could get 1 inch diameter or smaller it's just too much real estate.

I should also note before someone says not to rely on mirrors -- imo having something like this is extremely useful, but yes it NEVER replaces actually looking/doing a shoulder check. They do however give better awareness of what is going on around you, and can prevent the need to even do a check if you can see something in them, meaning you never have to take your eyes off the road to check in the first place. This is the same thing I do in my car -- check mirrors to see if lane is clear, and if it appears so, then signal, look for real, then make the change.

Doesnt that thing block your instrument panel?

Sent from my tablet using my paws

OK. Got one. Put it on my friends bike, Cruiser with a large windshield. To be honest I liked it so much that I am going back tomorrow to get one for myself.
Can not tell you what is is like to ride with. Looks good.

Or stick something like these on your side mirrors. First thing I get for every new bike.

I hate those little mirrors, they're useless to me. My bike and car came with those and I took them off the 1st day

Those small convex mirrors are too small to be useful.

+1 all they do is block a portion of the original mirror that you can actually use to see

great opinion. But it works well for me and others who have already suggested it.

So +1 for the small round mirrors

I agree with everything you say. You can see everything that is going on around you. However, habit means i will still do my shoulder checks.
Does not block my instruments. On the Diavel there are two sets of instruments and both are good.

I cut one of the smallest (2" diameter) mirrors in half and then taped the halves into my mirrors with no bevels, works great. I don't need to see more sky but the parking lines are handy to spot, I also get a measure of rear-view because I put them at the outside of the stock mirrors and the inside of the curve gets a good angle along my arm to whatever is behind me.

I'm sorry, but that thing looks completely dorky.
If I saw a rider with one of those on his bike, I would steer clear.
It's like a big warning sign.
