Why you shouldn't cheap out on riding pants ***GRAPHIC***

Jamie educating people on the benefits of gear. That's fresh.
Lol, I've never told anyone to NOT wear gear ;)

I just hate it when people say if you wear gear you won't/shouldn't die.

I always felt a touch paranoid for wearing my Forcefield knee armour and heavy gauge leather overpants on every ride. But after reading this epic thread, I'm feeling pretty good about my decision. That belt sander analogy sure makes the point. F*ck jeans... Leather every time.

Guy says you don't need gear cause you'll still die anyway!!! LOL! What a tard. The dead ones are the lucky ones!!!

I'm not disagreeing with you, but you've slightly confused/misinterpreted the OP's post;

What he's saying is that the BEST gear & protection you have on the streets is YOU: your riding skill, patience, awareness and responsibility will do more to prevent an accident from happening, than any gear that you can buy.

The gear we buy and wear *should be* for the unexpected and unavoidable accidents that we are all subject to while riding on the street.
