Also why you don't pass on the right!.
Doesn't matter who's right or wrong, if you ride your motorcycle thinking to yourself "i'm allowed to go 80 on the highway, i obey the law and i'm in the right" you'll also be roadmeat before too long.
holy fack, yes the guy was going fast(er) but the semi truck could clearrrrly see him in his mirrors...
Good on him for avoiding the motorcyclist, they wouldve been roadkill under the semi's wheels otherwise!
It took the car driver 3 seconds to recognize that the semi was changing lanes and then have to take evasive action. Thankfully he saw and reacted to the bike MUCH faster.
People need to use common sense. He's changing lanes for a reason.
I don't see how any of you guys are concluding that anyone but the car driver is at fault? The truck and motorcycle seemed to be travelling at roughly the same speed, the car was travelling at almost double the speed... the driver of the car could have SLOWED DOWN to anticipate the situation more clearly but instead he raced forward blindly like an idiot and almost made roadmeat of two riders. The driver of the car is 100% at fault.
It's sad to think that they license clueless people.
Sadder that said people then record themselves and publish it.
Saddest that others here believe that the video maker is driving in an appropriate manner, blaming either the motorcyclist or the trucker for the issue.
Please slip your license into the nearest shredder for appropriate processing.
So the idiots in order of importance are>
The impatient video guy #1
The truck driver that can't use his mirrors or simply stay in the right lane with his big rig. #2
The motorcycle for not watching his mirrors or at least keeping up / staying ahead of regular traffic. #3

I would disagree with you.I don't think anyone believes the video maker is driving in an appropriate manner, there's no doubt he drives like an idiot, there are hundreds like him out there everyday.
Which is why i brought up my point, don't be lollygagging around on a motorcycle!
If a truck is passing you, guess what?, you're going to friggin slow.
It's common practice for people to make stupid passes on the right, thanks to those other idiots, that stay locked in the left lane at 95km/hr and helped them develop the bad habit.
