Why you should never ride slow on the highway.

Also why you don't pass on the right!

And the car was travelling well over the speed limit based on how fast he was gaining on the truck.

holy fack, yes the guy was going fast(er) but the semi truck could clearrrrly see him in his mirrors...

Good on him for avoiding the motorcyclist, they wouldve been roadkill under the semi's wheels otherwise!

Oh wow... Totally the driver's fault. But a few mistakes made by the semi too. He changed lanes way too close to the bike, that's why he probably couldn't change lanes back. And the driver.... come on! Semi's usually only change lanes if they are trying to overtake someone.

I'm glad the biker wasn't hurt. He was just going about minding his own business following the law.

It took the car driver 3 seconds to recognize that the semi was changing lanes and then have to take evasive action. Thankfully he saw and reacted to the bike MUCH faster.

round of applause for trying to avoid the motorcycle!!! who gives a **** about a bumper and a trunk repair

you'd be suprised how easy it is to damage the frame.

Agree with ^ or another car. I see ppl doing about 80 on the 401 everyday left lane and im not talking rush hour.

Definitley the cars fault. He/She had plenty of time to see the Semi changing lanes and brake.

But kudos to him for avoiding the motorcycle.

Whole lot of stupid going on in that video.

Semi attempts the pass so close to the car while the next car back was far away enough to give the semi a better opportunity for the semi to pass.

Then you have the motorcycle getting passed by the semi. That in itself is just wrong.

Then you have the cager who appears to maintain speed when the semi cuts in. Cager should know better and hit the brakes.

Let's see here, speed limit is 100, trucks can go 105. So if a truck passes me while I'm following the law I should be hit because I'm wrong?

The cager was crazily accelerating into the back of the semi.
For some reason the car was speeding up AFTER the semi started the lane change, and no brakes before the lane change back into the 'slow' lane.
