I'm currently capturing intersection infrastructure using GIS for a GTA municipality. Many intersections have a video (camera) detection zone with no physical detection loop in the ground.
They can be used for screw finding. Do you trust that the person installing the screws hit a stud? Bigger is better for that role. I have a 1" RE magnet with a clip on it (supposed to clip it to a belt/pocket/suspenders to hold a few screws) that I use. The clip works as a nice handle for the magnet. If you get an RE magnet holding on tight without a handle, it's easy to mark the surface when trying to get it off.
