WTF?? That's the last thing I expected to see, lol.
The main reason why there are so many videos is because people get wrongly charged by cops left and right in Russia (and pretty much all other Eastern European countries). It got even worse when mandatory insurance was introduced. So with in-car video cameras from China, Korea, etc. being cheap, people in there started to install them in their cars (rightfully so).
IMHO, drivers at least in Toronto are as bad if not worse as in Russia. Same morons on these roads who disrespect traffic rules, have no idea what they are doing, buy their driving licenses, doing anything and everything else, but driving, etc etc etc. There is a noticeable increase of video cameras in the cars in Toronto. Just check out redflagdeals threads, which are 100s of pages long, discussing in-car video cameras, especially high-end ones from Korea and China.
As soon as we will have as many cameras installed in our cars here as in Russia, we will see the same number of the same retarded driver behaviour in Canada on youtube, just give Canada a few years to catch up.

Hit and runs are very common and insurance companies notoriously specialize in denying claims. Two-way insurance coverage is very expensive and almost completely unavailable for vehicles over ten years old–the drivers can only get basic liability.
