Why Android is better than iPhone.

Its a fact that by keeping the price the same on IP3, Apple is taking less profit than IP2 was at that price point. Same goes with the reduced price of the iPad2.

Interesting strategy.....perhaps they plan to make the profit lost on extra volume.

Good on them for naming it the iPad and not Ipad3. Smart move.

You're ignoring amortized research and development costs.

So he does not want to get his remote greasy, but he is ok with putting his greasy hands on his hair?

Yes... I have no need for voice control on my TV.
Yes... I am happy to use a remote to interact with my TV.
Yes... This will probably cost more than my car when it comes out.
Yes... I think it looks like one of the most beautiful TVs on the planet right now.
Yes... My life will go on just fine without it.
But damn... I WANT ONE!!!

Q2 earnings call is on April 24, investors are taking their profits just in case. I expect it to jump back up after the results, assuming the results are as forecasted (don't think anyone is predicting otherwise)

wait I minute, what is Jon Rubinstein doing at apple HQ? He is the father of WebOS.

Before that, he was the father of an unknown gadget called the iPod

That chart simplifies your question Sandro. It's CLEAR (according to that chart) that stop losses have been taken out close to, or dead on $600, then a tad of 'panic selling'. Likely those retail investors that have been in since $150 - $300.
Nothing in the market goes straight up, or NO ONE would make money (without sellers).
AAPL is up 4.5% today.
Use charts like you posted as 'buying opportunities' (unless very bad news caused the drop).

uhhhh, $600 + a share? No thanks.

I'll stick to the $15 RIM stocks. :)

I'm not a fanboy of either issues (until RIM dips below $6.50, or Apple announces a divi), but note this:

Hypothetically, if you invested $50,000 at the close yesterday in RIM.TO and AAPL, this is the scenario:

$50,000 would have bought you 3,785 shares of RIM.TO.
$50,000 would have bought 86 shares of AAPL.

Today, you would have made $340 (selling RIM at the close).
Today, you would have made $2564 (selling AAPL at the close).

Stick with RIM & you'll be 'stuck' mega $$$$$$ :lmao:
