Damn I'm ****** to be working this week.....would have been logging some serious miles. I did finally break 20,000km on the season last weekend but sheesh, this weather is sure nice.

Planning to get out Saturday. Hopefully the forecast holds.
 
Did the rear wheel bearings, shocks, calipers, rotors, and pads on the wifes mazda today.
I'm now free every day for the rest of this week. Time to put some more miles on before the snow.

its funny I went north today and even though the temps were warmer there is still some some snow thats leftover, guess they get it early


Also find it funny that even though the temps remain higher, as soon as the sun goes down, you instantly become cold
 
Too cold is when you can't ride for fear of your soft compound tires cracking.
about minus 18 degrees centigrade
 
I’m planning to make a run up to the family cottage this weekend in Burks falls to get the dock out. ? the ride should be good but that water is going to be cold.
But with a change of clothes, heated hoodie all should be good.

18c tomorrow. 19c Saturday. 18c Sunday. 20c Monday. 21c Tuesday.

Anyone with their bikes put away are going to seriously kick themselves.

This is why my winterization process involves a tank of stabilized fuel and a battery tender, and nothing more.
 
Managed just a shade over 500km this weekend. Wanted more but wife didn't want to ride big miles today..but did want to get out with her.

I'm thinking I may be coming down with a serious case of Anal Glaucoma on Tuesday.

'Did 499.0 kms on Thursday with a couple BMW ADV bike riding jerks friends, but... Gotta have MOAR
 
Got out both Monday and yesterday after work. Thought about it this evening (it was warmer then it was forecasted to be), but yard work beckoned.

Looks like the 20-something temps are behind us now, but hey, Saturday isn't looking terrible with the right gear.

My plugged rear tire isn't holding air properly...have to reinflate it every day I want to ride, leaks down to about 20 PSI over the period of a day or two. Thankfully will hold pressure properly for a full day of riding at least...which, this time of year, is fine. Will worry about it come spring.

I have better luck with plugs if I preheat them with a torch and put them in gooey.
