I picked up the Aprilia Shiver 750 on a snowy day in April, and I will shut her down the first time I get caught out by snow.

Did Toronto to London, to Hamilton and back to Toronto on Friday—great day for it and had to run some work related errands. Happy to have good cold weather gear for it though.

Did 800km on Friday up through Algonquin, Barry’s Bay, Combermere, etc. Some damp roads through West end Algonquin but no rain. Beauty day and found a couple new roads. Likely done now for the season but still lots of dirt biking to be had. Sleds are ready to go.

Any from Niagara can comment if the roads in the region have been sprayed with salt or bryne ?

This Saturday is looking decent, although it's possible there will be brine down in some areas - it's snowing in Peterborough and area right now.

But more rain later this week, that'll be gone. Too early for rock salt I'd think, ground is warm enough it's melting on contact still.

Oh there, hmm made it as far as Kingston but that area north of there I haven't explored yet!!

None yet that I've seen (Caledon/Georgetown). It's more likely north of Barrie, northern Grey County, Peterborough etc.

Yeah the sun was nice, just did some short loops around Uxbridge and Port Perry, nice and crisp. Warmer in the city.

I'm thinking Sat might be a good day for the end of season ride. More good days might follow, but there's no guarantees at this time of the year. Soon all roads are gonna be sand & salt slippy, and asphalt temps getting a little cold for spirited street riding.
