Who's going to the show?

It's in yo mama's bedroom.

It's snowing here and I'm only 40 mins from the show. No riding of any sorts.

went to the show this morning and I found there were less items than in the January show. It appears that there were many more booths for Harley bikers this time around. Was it worth it? well sure, it allowed me to hang out drooling at the BMW, Ducati and Triumph bikes. Wasn't looking for anything specific but picked up a tank bag and an $11 snack for my 10 yr old. Also got info on where to take my 10 yr old to learn how to dirt bike.

Anyone else go today? Curious to see if it's worth going or not. When is the next show? Fall?

Deals to be had for apparel and tires. Specific parts, like frame sliders, tinted visors, etc. are quite hard to find if you know the exact thing you want.

I will concur, far less variety from the main players and more venders from the fringes, (pun intended). On the food side we found the Asian Noodles in the beer garden area very flavourful and a much better value than the other offerings. You get a huge bowl in your choice of veggie, chicken, shrimp or chicken & shrimp and one serving was enough for the both of us.
I wish Peter Derry well with this venture. Hopefully more clubs, shops and motorcycle related venders will support him in the future.

Waste of $15. Couple of deals on jackets but less things to look at.

Generally I like the shows, but this one was absolutely terrible.

I got a Joe Rocket speedmaster 10 for $200.

I got a CAA membership finally. That's it. And I sat on a lot of bikes and found the S1000RR to be the most comfortable. Go figure, no where near anything I could ever afford (and probably a bit of jump from my 250).

Pathetic show +1

Only 2 halls, nothing impressive, over stocked with bikes. I liked the January show, it was much more spread out. Lots of room between bikes.

One thing I discovered way leather jackets are heavy! compared to the usual textile I wear. Leathers are heavy as hell, I was going to buy a Joe rocket for 200$, sadly the last black one was sold.

I got a bunch of posters, then I headed out to the warehouse sale in the other hall and bought a cool elephant pottery for my mother's birthday.

No question the Winter show is better - twice as large and varied, at a comparable price ($15-$18).

If I had never gone to a show or couldn't make it to the Winter one, I would consider going to this Spring one again, but this is likely my first and last time at this show (if I have to pay).

Definitely the show was lacking....far too many cheapo leather jacket dealers...but lots of bikes to look at. Found a helmet ....Bell adjustable head size drifter 1/2 helmet in matte black...plus 2 pair of glasses for $20
Not bad I guess.

So my main reason to go was a good deal on a jacket (non leather) and to see if they had a deal on the helmet I want. Sounds like I'll just go back to royal. Should have gone to the show in January

It was much smaller than the January but I only went to see the cycle world booth and to see what deals they had.
was able to pick up a nice icon leather jacket for $200 and a helmet for $99 for my brother inlaw.
you see the same bikes at all the shows so the only reason to go is for the deals and impulse buying.
Arrive early on the first day of any of the shows with cash for a good deal and you be good.
It is kind of pointless at this time to go to the Sunday show unless you just want to sit on a few bikes.

at some point the various producers have got to figure out the GTA cant support 4 good shows. But I'm guessing if they count the cash on the last day and turned a profit the watered down versions will continue.

Quite sad compared to the jan show.

It was my first motorcycle show and I don't really have a basis for comparison, but I agree with the consensus that the show was lackluster and I wasn't impressed at all.

I did pick up a Shoei helmet from Riderschoice though! Great guys!

Other than that, there wasn't a whole lot.
