It's not that, most people there are in early 20's and they (with exceptions of course) protect themselves in packs of friends and rarely have the social skills to talk to strangers.
I used to go and always find people i know but if I didn't know anyone there that night I wouldn't even pop by and i ride an SS.
L&L is good for a pit stop between DVP sprints or a good meetup point for a late night ride to Niagara etc, that's all, most times I can't handle the "conversation" and misinformation offered amognst riders

I showed up with my cb400 about 3 years back... and once recently now that i've upgraded. It's hit or miss on the type of people you meet. I prefer a smaller crowd that doesn't draw the attention of the po-po and actually wishes to have a solid conversation about experiences and bikes.
