Who's Going Racing?

just cause im sick of hearing about it..... did you loan him the money on paper? signed ? like a legal document ?
or just cash cause you were dating ?
It's hard to go after someone that has no money or at least hides it from the government and puts things in other people's names.

that has nothing to do with the question..............

Tire warmers, generator, trailer, gas, entry fees, tires and prolly more somewhere. Maybe I can do one at the end of the season when I've saved up more money.

The first three can be helped by someone else. I have an a back up set of warmers that you could use and a huge generator you could plug into and Im sure that someone could give your bike a lift to the track. then all you have to do is skip a track day so you have enough tire that you didnt use and entry fees that u didnt use at the track day. bring a tent and accommodations are free.

He still owes you the money and you can race!!! That wasn't so hard...anyone willing to lend a ride for her bike?

Id take ya depending on the day and where u live. I'm not keen on driving hours out of the way. Pm me if ur interested. I'm in kitchener

I already PM'ed her with a solution about the trailer

I gather from her response that she is more interested in track days than racing, but it is nice to see everyone coming together to help

Depending on when and where to i'd be able to get the bike to the track for her if needed

Nice to see ppl helping ppl. I know last year I mooched rides for every track day, good to see it comes around when needed

Whats with all the whining....dont you have a boyfriend whos going racing? Think you're covered for a generator and a lift to the track. And as mentioned, just race instead of track days, you'll love the femme class and you're slow enough that one set of tires will last you most if not all of a season. You're also not fast enough for race tires which means you dont need warmers. All of that could change over the season, but you're fine for round one.

If someone owes you money, simply ask for it and if they refuse then take legal action.
It is not very classy of you to keep putting your/his private matters on an open forum, seems very Jerry Springer like.
I actually give Jamie props for taking the high road and not stooping to your level.
Whether he actually owes you anything or not, we'll never know.

Stop trying to make people feel sorry for you, it's lame.
You made a mistake, deal with the consequences.
Sorry if I sound harsh, I'm just calling it how I see it.

I'm going racing!

Once I buy a new truck and trailer. I'm stuck between the Ford Explorer or Jeep Grand Cherokee. My Dad is wanting to go splitsies on the Escalade or Avalanche, but I'm not a fan of it. I only go racing/track'ing once a month so he can use it any other weekend for boating or hunting (which I'll be with him for anyway).

So it has to be big enough to pull is 21' boat... but without the massiveness the Escalade or Avalanche since it'll mostly be in city.

When's the diesel Cherokee out? I'd wait for that.

I'm hopefully picking up a trailer tonight. Thanks for all the offers everyone. I'll prolly do a round or so later in the season. Save up some more money.
