This is how the Euros do it every day! I already have dress shoes at work that I change into after arriving in winter boots on the cold days.

I wear riding pants with booty shorts underneath, and then either pull on a skirt and whip off the pants, or pull down the dress I've got tucked up into my jacket. You gotta go with the wrinkle resistant stuff!

If you wear a collared shirt or khakis at my work you get pointed out. Jeans and t-shirt every day unless I have to meet a client, which happens at most twice a month.

whats a suit?

hahah, one of them things you wear to a weddin' right?

lol, i feel bad for suits... i ride downtown and see these people, all look the same, same facial expressions, cell phones affixed to ear...love it.

Keep some stuff at work. I keep my heals and a few dress sweaters at work. And I either wear leggings under my jeans with a really dressy top, dress up my jeans with heals and a really dressy top, or bring a skirt/dress pants in my bag and change at work. Same with my hair. I do it when I get in.

Suggestion, throw any stuff you would rather not winkled in your bag at the very last min OR store it at work. I find rolling it helps reduce fold lines.

During meetings, I take a car and wear my suit.

Casual Fridays are the only days I take the bike to work.

Wear a suit while you ride, stand out from the crowd I say!

But really, if you are a suit, there's no way of keep it from wrinkling unless you do wear it while riding (i.e. if you don't have a closet at work, of course). ATGATT be damned, sometimes you gotta take risks to look purdy.

For people like me, I either just wear my stuff to work with a backpack that holds a pair of shoes, or I leave shoes at work to change into from my riding boots (pretty much what others in this thread have been suggesting).

Don't have to wear a suit myself, but how can you guys wear dress shoes on a bike? Wouldn't they get ruined by the shifter pretty much by the second ride?

Thats what backpacks and saddle bags etc are for. Bring some shoes to work then leave them there. Saves carting them around.

I am not forced to wear a suit, just dress shirt and pants. I simply buy the wrinkle free stuff and toss it in a backpack and change at work, everyone here knows I ride so they are used to seeing me with messd up hair or wearing jeans / leathers when I arrive. It's not a big deal I have been looking for some riding pants that will pass as "dressy pants" that way I only need to worry about shirts..we have casual Friday's as well which helps alot.

I'm in the same boat. I take my pants and shirt into work in a backpack or tail bag and change at my desk. People comment when I'm leaving for the day in jeans with my jacket, they all know I ride and like it. I have a pair of black dress shoes at work. The only time I don't ride because of work is if I have a client meeting and have to wear a suit.
