I have a Stebel Nautilis installed on my wee. Mounted it to the crash bars. 2 years of comunting through all sorts of weather its still works just fine.
Well, my Fiamm Freeway Blaster broke. It just did not have enough clearance underneath and the fender came up and tapped it on a hard bump. I didn't think it hit that bad, but it stopped working. The thing looks fine from the outside with no marks on it, but will not make a sound. I replaced the stock horn for now.
Go to eBay and search for "Wolo motorcycle air horn". Got me a chrome unit with dual-tone for $29USD and am quite happy with it. Just got back yesterday from a 10 day trip out west that included a few days of riding through torrential downpours and it still works. The compressor and horn are both in one compact unit, so there's no hoses to worry about. Most cruiser type bikes should be a quick and simple swap-out with the stock horn, others might require a bit of work to mount.
