where to park when at work?

thinking of riding to work this week.
I found another thread in GTA archives. It says you can just go around the gate and park in the work parking lots?
Is this true?

You can do whatever you want. Whether you get caught is a different story.

Why don't you just ask whoever's in charge of the lot?

Your work has no parking lot? I would just park where I park my car unless they have some rule about no bikes allowed.

Before asking the person in charge of the lot, take a look around. Find a place that you can safely park and not take up a car spot, possibly a corner, striped off area by a light post etc, then ask if they mind if you park there. It will be much easier for them to agree let you park for free (or a cheaper rate) if you can show that you won't cost them the regular income from a monthly pass.

It would depend on whether you have a gate or not in the first place......

Why won't you just ask the Parking Facility where you park. How are people suppose to know what the parking policy is at your work. You didn't even disclose where you work, and you shouldn't.

The correct answer is anyplace...You are a ride a bike now rules do not apply to you. drive your bike into the office.. and park it in your supervisors direct work space... if he gives you greif...then remind him that you ride a bike. Worked out for me...

ok i realize this thread was a bit out at sea.
apologies on it.

i just asked it here since it was weekend and at night time so I wanted to see if there was a general rule.
