Where to get Tygon (or neoprene) hoses

Anyone know where to get any? I only need a small amount so I don't want to buy a whole roll. Just enough for the master to the reservoir. I am in Burlington and would like to just walk in and get some rather than ordering some for $5 and have to pay $30 on shipping.

I looked on canadian tire, home depot, lowes etc and didn't see any. Partsource has some neoprene but not tygon in stock apparently that I am going to go check out. None of the bike shops near me carry anything.

It's a specialized chemical tubing you won't find it at hardware stores

You can pickup Tygon gas line at a decent lawn equipment repair shop. The kind of place that services the industrial mowers and weed eaters. I picked some up recently at a Stihl repair centre

For something so small I would prefer to just walk in somewhere local and get it.

I know that Tony has it but he has it for $8/ft and I need less than a foot which is why I was looking to find it local. I don't want to pay way more in shipping than it's actually worth. If I am driving by his place I will pick it up but wanted to know if anyone has bought it anywhere else.

If someone near bluestreak is going to be at Mosport or coming through Burlington shortly and wouldn't mind picking up a foot :)

Using tigon for over 10 years now and I have never see anyone sell it less then a foot. Ask tony I'm sure he would sell you half a foot for $4 lol and I don't pay shipping for tigon because it's always added to other orders. Either way he is the cheapest local source I know of. Even if you found it at homedepot guess what they sell all hose and wire by the foot so you would have to by a foot anyways.

Dave @ Competition Cycle/Whitby sells the stuff.

I was only saying I need less than a foot as I didn't want to pay for shipping on such a small purchase if I could get it local. If I was driving by his shop I would just stop in.

Google Stihl repair shop in Burlington....
Unless you prefer to pay a premium and drive across the city at some performance shop. I paid $10 for 4' of the stuff!

Thanks, I was doing that from your first post while replying about the bike shops.

I have tons of it in stock usually, Id sell you a piece but Im in Mississauga. Just be careful what you buy lots of people say they have tygon but what they have is regular old pvc tubing. I have been given regular tubing by a bike shop before, useless unless your going to use it in your fish tank system

+1
A buddy bought some on flea bay and it ended up being yellow vinyl, best to buy from a trusty source.

Depending on the diameter, most radio control hobby shops carry Tygon. They'll even sell you in inches; however, most of the time they just give it to me when I only need a few inches.

If you have access to a local university with a Chemistry department, they could probably give you some. If you were in Kingston, I have lots of different sizes. L
