Where to buy tires in the GTA

They weren't my first choice (which weren't in stock for a couple weeks). I moved up from an OEM set of Dunlop D208SMs. Tires were something like $270 shipped + tubes + install. Daniel from Heritage posts on the forums, I think they advertise $80 or $90 for install

I've only got 5 or 600km on them so far, but I've noticed a couple things. First, I now have wobble starting at 120-125km/h - I've no interest in pushing past it to see if it goes away. I don't know if this is a balancing issue, a problem with my steering geometry (bike's been down, but was repaired by kneedragger88), or the tires themselves. What I will say is that the wobble didn't exist on the Dunlops and that was up to my bike's max speed. Second, I've had a bit of slip on tar snakes in turns (there's a bad one at a certain on ramp), but I think that can be chalked up to cold tires. Other than that, I'm happy with them, but I'll be going with Michelin Pilot Powers for my next set, just to give them a shot.

Riders Choice has very competitive tire pricing

+1 for petes superbike. I bought a rear last season from them. It showed up at my door all-in (taxes, shipping and tire cost) for $40 less than the tire (before tax) in the GTA. It only took 3 days to get here. Allways shop around. But don't forget check petes.

Went to see dave at competition cycle in whitby and he set me up on some Q2's for $260. Loved the ride home.

riders choice

ride in....ride out

I got mine done at Riders Choice about a month ago. $299 for the set of BT-016s. I found the price to be reasonable but the benefit was they got it done for me in an hour on a Saturday walk-in, no appointment.

If you don't care about money, buy local. If you do, check out the prices in the States.
