Anyone know where I can get something like this locally? I need it before Monday.

$44, eh? The lower one I pictured was listed at like $10 online... hope it's worth the price.
GP bikes has them.
Little too far for me before Monday (I'm more central/east side) but could probably stop there on the way.

Thanks guys.

Even better would be if someone could just lend me one to try out for a week. Riding to Ottawa on Monday and back on Thursday and last time I did a long ride (3+ hrs on the highway at almost constant throttle) my throttle hand got all cramped up. Tried to make one of these things out of a large zip tie like I've seen online but it didn't work worth a damn.

Also investigate a throttle rocker. Those things are godsends, you can just rest your hand on the bar instead of constantly gripping it.

You can make one out of a coat hanger and some heat shrink tubing. Twist the coat hanger with the pliers until it is just right, cut it to length, then cover in heat shrink.

I have a crampbuster which is essentially a throttle rocker. You can borrow it if you want to see how much it helps. These things cost like $10.
I'm in west Mississauga.

I have both on my bike. I use the cramp buster all the time but the cruise control gizmo is a rare occurrence. I only use that for superslab.

Anyone here with Rizoma grips use one of these?

I have a spare you could borrow, but like Shane I'm also in Mississauga and work odd hours, so I'm not sure how convenient it would be for you.

I picked one up at cycle world superstore (If I recall correctly, it was $19) 4545 sheppard ave east. 416-364-8889. Call before you go to check inventory.

If you live in York as in close to York University, Dufferin and Keele has Daytona Motorsports which supposedly carries them as well... Been wanting to pick it up for the past year now lol....

I've used the throttle-lock with Pro-Grip (719 I believe) and it works OK... These are one of the softer grips, and it takes some time to figure out how to properly set it.
I usually have to go a touch beyond where I would set it, and it moves that mach back as soon as I release the throttle... With some practice, it works OK.

I like the Vista Cruise - cheap and easy to turn on and off. But make sure you get one that fit your bar size.

I have one for 7/8" bars if you want. I suspect you have 1" bars. Also in Mississauga.

I use a palm throttle as well. Best $10 you can spend but be careful of the setup ...can be twitchy.

I have the plastic Go Cruise model and use it on the stock grips on my ST1100. It has worked great for the past two seasons and took seconds to install. Best $20 I ever spent!
