Where do you guys get engine oil change parts here?

HiFlo makes the filters for K&N and Champion (and likely some OEMs as well). I've never had an issue with them.
And can often be found in bulk on Amazon or Ebay for good prices. I use the HiFlo ones on my BMW because WIX doesn't make one for it, there's no BMW dealer close, never the right KN model in stock nearby.

Wix XP filter from Amazon (it doesn't get any better than Wix, a quality filter is money well spent, almost all Fram's are garbage!) and Rotella T6 from whoever has it on sale the cheapest at the point I need it.

Then the old oil sits in my garage under my workbench for about 5 years until I realize I've got about 200L of the **** in a crap ton of jugs and and few 20L pails, load it all into the car, and take it up to the transfer station for disposal.

As for Fram...this is why you don't use Frams. Cardboard and basically a garbage drainback that means your engine is potentially starting dry every time depending on the orientation of your filter.

When did Fram go bad I wonder? Back in the 80's, 90's Fram was the name. I worked at an oil change place starting out and Fram was all that was used. Never saw a motor damaged. At first I thought this video was a hit piece from a rival company, but the visuals are there and undisputable.

Fram spends a metricshitton of money on advertising, always has.
Name another oil filter company from the '80s.

Fram had a plastic leak down valve, that would melt and leak, in PH30 filters in the early '80s... remember all the small blocks with rattling lifters right after they start? It didn't BLOWUP motors, but it caused the motors to die an early death

I probably put on 10,000 PH 30's (without exaggeration) and never saw this once.

Never saw a motor die later on as a mechanic as a result of an oil filter.

Not disputing the results of this video...but in the real world it didn't translate into toasted engines.

The more likely scenario is Fram outsourced to China and China struck again.
