Where can I park on Queens Quay?

So I’ve been having to go to the island quite a lot lately, and have a very hard time finding free parking on Queens Quay.

Everywhere else in the city I just park on the street and it’s no problem, but QQ has no street parking and is incredibly touristy. If anyone has any tips on where to leave my bike that would be super helpful! As long as it’s under 10 min of walking from the ferry terminal id be thrilled. Never thought I’d have so much trouble parking my bike 🥴

I have a friend in that area, and it's a nightmare for parking as you have discovered. The best locations are in front of the Police marina (Robertson cres) or behind the beer store, but the latter is farther away and might be tricky if they ticket you. Going the other way there use to be street parking on Freeland st, but now they there is a construction project there and mostly used up.

Yikes. Yeah I saw freeland st on the map, but street view shows the signs are permit only?

Is parking at the police marina free? Might be worth a shot to do that. Bit of a walk but F*** paying for parking ugh.

I used to alternate places when i worked in the area.

Used to park under this billboard and the parking attendant didnt care

Or on the rubble/sand next to harbour 60... it was more confidence inspiring when we had a row of 12 motorcycles. Also we'd get ticketed maybe one or twice a year.
But $50 for free parking a whole year is worth it to me

Further from the ferry there's across amsterdam brewery which is legit parking
Otherwise the area is definitely pretty bare, there used to be parking east of yonge street on the north-south streets but not when there was construction, dont know if it changed, on freeland street but that's a bit of a walk as well...

My workplace wanted too much money to park the motorcycle in their garage and some guy got his HP4 stolen from the underground garage during daytime so not necessarily safer
Good luck!

Might try around Amsterdam maybe. Or the place hear Harbour 60, though might be sus if there aren't other bikes there. Last few times I drove down there I went to the paid parking next to the ferry and the guy was nice enough to only charge $10 instead of $20-25 like they do for cars.

I'm gonna be going to the island a lot in the coming summers so I really need to figure out a free parking situation ugh.

I would just park behind the old Gretzky's, if the spots are still there, and walk the twenty minutes myself.

The parking lot, under the billboard worked great back then. I personally wouldnt do behind harbour 60 if there were no other bikes and sadly, most of us in that waterpark place building are still working from home. So mayyybe next spring summer you'll see a resurgence of people. It's weird, as a cyclist i'm happy they put in the cycle lanes, but as a motorcyclist, i'm sad there aren't closer on-street parking options in the area.
