I dont get why you gotta buy a contraption when all u need is one of these from the dolla store.

That contraption looks like it takes more work and probably comes with an instruction manual on how to use it ... its just a milk bag!

Main reasons are:

1. Milk is covered and not exposed to whatever is in the refrigerator.
2. Im lazy and dont want to cut the slit manually.

but how will you ever toughen up the ol' immune system unless you eat some dirt from time to time?

1. Yes a corner has been exposed but I dont think anyones ever died from drinking milk stored this way
2. I think it takes more effort to put it in this contraption than to cut the bag yourself

:)

but if it scratches your novelty itch, buy it, cuz i know i get that itch sometimes.

I actually make fun of the milk "bladders" here ALL the time. Even the yanks make fun of them. They are creepy hospital IV bag looking things.

Seems more trouble than it's worth. You'd have to wash the top after every bag. With the old style, no need to wash it unless you spill the milk.

If it's exposed to long you're not drinking enough :P I replace my bag every day.
^-- I've seen her drink a 4L jug of chocolate milk over 2.5 days

I've finished 3L in one day before too. I was just saving the milk to last the whole weekend at mosport :P

Well it takes me a few weeks to drink 3 bags of milk or until they expire.

I drink milk a lot... I love milk.
I can drink an infinite amount in a day (most was 5L before I thought: well ****; I'm too lazy to go buy more so I better save these last 3 bags and have them last the weekend)

A buddy of mine back in high school (15 years ago) invented a seal-able jug with a plastic spike in the bottom which allowed you to puncture the bag and then remove it leaving the milk in the jug. The jug was dish washer safe and kept your milk fresh. The problem was it retailed for $9.95+tax. A majority of people didn't want to pay more then $1-2 dollars for a jug since that what the cheap ones cost. His was sold for a limited time in Sears, Zellers and Kmart.

1. Paperclamp
2. Use scissors as they take less effort than the snippet.

1. Need to remove and put back every time i use it
2. Requires finding scissors

1. True but paperclamp can quickly be removed from bag and clipped to right ear lobe while pouring milk and then returned to bag.
2. Use second paperclamp to clip scissors to left ear lobe.
