where can i find real food!

dayum, that's a different one! the one i know of is in eglington/dixie area in 'ssauga (north/west block in a plaza)...authentic Afghani place! quite unique compared to all the other mid-east/kabob/shawarma joints i've been to. this place is the bomb too! but good to know of another joint.

go don mills south to dvp all way down to lakeshore
go overlea round back by golf course and up dvp
go up don mills to peanut plaza
go west a couple blocks then plunge down bayview extension...

i'm dreamin' ... City Ridin' + Bamiyan Kabob ... match made in Firdous!

Bamiyan Kabob is located at 14th Av & Markham Road in Markham.
 
At teh Richmond-Adelaide Centre, in a place on the PATH, right near the Grand & toy is a great place that sells peanut butter and banana sandwiches, yum.

was there this summer when they were undergoin' some major renovations. ate lunch under a huge circus tent they had set up next to their building.

Salad King near Ryerson has great Thai food for less than $10 a plate.

+1 its a good spot. beware of the waitresses they'll bring you beer even if you tell her you dont want any.

but its a good 'community' eatery place, very sterile.

peanut butter and nutella..... damn thats where a snack is at

nutella reminds me of the cool friends but I never had it growing up so I admit now, after trying it, not too shabby.

toast, a tiny bit of margarine, then peanut butter and marmite. oh and then marmite and cheese to keep half of the common theme :)
