What's your biggest fear?

Sorry to thread jack, but does it strike anyone as odd that this thread was started by someone who has been a member since 2007 and this is thier first and only post?

Yeah that's a stupid comment.
I am a member; I just prefer to ride than try to remember my login to the forum.
I bought my bike on this forum from another member who is now a friend of mine.
I asked a question and a lot of these other riders are answering it.
Anymore lame observations that I need to address?
If not nice. If so go ahead and drop it.

The reason is quite simple. This forum has been around for quite some time, and it has been updated since. As such, the current forum does not show all of our previous posts. So, while I have hundreds if not well over a thousand, of posts on the forums, it only shows the most recent ones, less than 40. Though I have been a member since god knows when in 2005.

Don't worry, I don't take offense that some scrub whos been a member since June 2012 and who is not a site supporter questions anothers posters 'validity'.

1. I understand the reason before you had to post as someone else was nice enough to send me a PM and explain the update and lost post counts. Thanks for your time.

2. The comment was a question, not stated in a mean or degrading way but I guess you throwing money around makes it ok for you to insult other forum members.

FYI thanks for the insult.

Thowing money around usually does make it acceptable....think of gtam as a nudie bar, thats way understaffed...with a pregnant bish on stage. people get pissy

I don't think he was trying to insult u OJ, just pointing out the pot and kettle situation that seems to be developing. I find people on this site are very visual, maybe if you had tossed some laughing smiley emoticons around your question it may have not been interpreted as an insult, as the OP and Grimmy seem to have both taken it that way. Maybe your fear is colons and closed brackets? Or capital X and D? Lol, why can't we be friends, why can't we be friends? XD my second biggest fear is anesthesia, that slowly starting to involuntarily pass out for some reason makes me think I'm gonna die.

No I think it was pretty clear.

"""some scrub whos been a member since June 2012"""

And he made it very clear he is a site supporter and I am not, making sure we all know he has money to throw around.

Sorry but that is just in bad taste. (only my opinion) No matter how long one has been involved with this forum.:)

I was done with this question after I got the PM and the OP replied so for someone else to bring it back after the OP answered was also bad taste. Now I am Done with this discussion. I do appreciate your thoughts on the matter. :)

I'm waiting for the day someone flicks a giant booger out their window and it goes in my vent.

I've never been anesthetized (is that a word?) but my fear of it wouldn't be feeling like death, it'd be suffering anesthesia awareness where you still get to feel them cutting you open but can't move or let them know you're feeling everything. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anesthesia_awareness

I had my anesthetic not work during surgery. It hurts but then you go into shock. It happens more to redheads they told me so if you don't have red hair don't worry about it :p Also now I am not afraid of anything because nothing could ever compare to that.

Thats nuts! Was it pretty major surgery? I can't imagine it. But hey, at least now you're practically invincible :D

C-section, they had to keep going and couldn't stop the pain with meds until the baby was out then they pumped me full of morphine. Only problem was going back in for another two c-sections for subsequent kids. I got a little nervous it would happen again. You know that scene in Braveheart at the end? It felt exactly how I imagined it would when I watched that. Mel Gibson is a really good actor, lol.

That was one hell of a slap.at least he had the decency to turn the guy into a safer position.

Lmao, 4 real! U know u got knocked out hard when u wake up refreshed! He shoulda given the dude a pillow and blanky while he was down there. What do u think that guy said to him to make him catch a slap like that? "hey man, I saw you on Kennedy road the other day wearing a douchevest, what gives?" SLAP!

DAMNIT!! WTF is a douchevest - I searched the forum and the only result took me to a post that said I don't have access to it!!

It'd be funny if he said 'I bet $100 I can take a slap from you like a champ!'

Oh great now I am scared of something else!!!

Yes, it was a bit of a poke and a jab at him. He insults another long standing member, questioning their validity as a poster. I kindly returned the favor. He didn't like it that much, did he?

As for the money... well, some people actually paid back in the day to make sure the site had some funding. It is, after all, free for any and all to visit and chit chat etc etc. Since I use the classified adverts as well, I think it is good value for little money.

I can't see from my phone, but u may not see it cuz u don't have access to trash talk as a non supporting member. But the douchevest ppl r talking about is the Icon striker vest, not that I personally think its douchy, but apparently the jury's still out on that one
