What's your biggest fear?

Minivans and Volvo's for the most part and as a general statement Markham area drivers. " So crazy "

So WTF, all of a sudden everyone's OK with kite string?

Oh right, that was so 2011.

biggest fear: Getting in a massive accident, being paralized, and trapped under a car/truck/suv and dying from suffocation.

Oh great now I am scared of something!!!

For those of you who are afraid of spiders....A few weeks ago I was riding and I guess there was a spider in my boot because I felt it bite my toe. It hurt a lot but I just kept going. When I got home later I took my boot off and my toe was purple and black and swelled up to twice the size. I just left it because really nothing can be done at the doctors for that anyway. The next day it was worse and hurt so much I had a significant limp. I called my sister who is a super nerd and studied biology with a focus on entomology and she told me that I would need to have my toe amputated to save my life, lol!! After another day it started to get better. I thought it was pretty funny though and as a result I no longer keep my boots in the garage.

brakes failing, or an axle coming loose...probably just paranoid...

Seen a banjo bolt come out of a brake master cylinder at the track, luckily the corner after the main straight at grattan (michigan). There is certainly some merit to safety wiring the bolts that can kill you even on a street bike.

Having my web browsing history read out to a crowded room...

Being run over by a truck on the highway...

Sorry to thread jack, but does it strike anyone as odd that this thread was started by someone who has been a member since 2007 and this is thier first and only post?

Yeah that's a stupid comment.
I am a member; I just prefer to ride than try to remember my login to the forum.
I bought my bike on this forum from another member who is now a friend of mine.
I asked a question and a lot of these other riders are answering it.
Anymore lame observations that I need to address?
If not nice. If so go ahead and drop it.

Whoa dude, what is there to take offense about? It was just an interesting observation.

As I'm clipping on down the road, I sneeze in my helmet and see red licorice covered in goo on my visor to was ejected from my left nostril. Why is this my number one fear? Other than opening my eyes and not being able to see the road in front of me, I don't eat red licorice.

I don't believe you but if it's any consolation, as long as it slices clean through then you won't feel a thing.

Kinda freaky though watching your bike and body roll away from you though..

(I heard after decapitation you are still "alive" for a few seconds afterwards, could just be an urban myth though)

having some ****** bag cager slam his brakes hard at the last second and turning instead of going straight through and intersection because he forgot he needs to turn

and distracted drivers / drivers who dont check surroundings for other vehicles
