What's your biggest fear?

I have a serious question for all the riders on here and it would help if I could get as many honest answers as I can. I'm trying to find out what other motorcycle riders biggest fears are.
There are obvious answers, but I won't limit the responses by saying what they are.

What is your biggest fear as a motorcycle rider and why?
If you have more than one, feel free to list them..

When you ride around the city, do you take a lock with you?
Do you worry that your bike might not be there when you come back?
Or do you worry more about being in an accident?

I said I wouldn't write any obvious answers but whatever.

What do you riders think?

Having another road user take me out by doing something stupid, left turn into my path, change lanes into me etc.

#1 fear is getting busted by the cops, and potential bike impounded with license suspended.

My fear is not to have a motorcycle in life...
And whatever Outlaws Justice mentioned

Potential fear of the left turner in front of me, or a T-boner in a busy intersection where there are so many trucks and vans and high SUV's around you that you can't see above them for that life-saving scan. I'm getting so I hate any vehicle higher than your average car.
There are other concerns, like coming back to the parking lot and finding your bike either gone or crunched by a hit and run. But like I say, those are concerns. The word fear is reserved for the biggies I first mentioned.

My biggest fear used to be riding in pouring rain. After a trip last year enduring 3 days of constant, at times torrential rains, I gained much needed confidence by being with a group of experienced GS adventure type riders - some two up - going full tilt at >> 100 kph through some twisted roads in Pennsylvania. They showed me what can be done, what cannot be done, and what should not be done. I am still careful, but no longer afraid to venture out and corner in the rain.

After reading the fallen riders section and having witnessed several close calls on the 401 and DVP I am now much more worried about what David/Outlaws Justice said.

brakes failing, or an axle coming loose...probably just paranoid...
lol are you concerned about your wrenching skills?

My fears basically stem from other road users. I'm confident in my ability, but most of the drivers out there are a risk either due to lack of skill or being distracted.

Had an incident last year that would have put me sandwiched between a car and a concrete barrier at 100 if I hadn't followed my gut feeling and slowed down even though my lane was clear for me ahead. Both legs would have been gone when that car nailed the wall and slid down it to a stop... Made me re-think riding on the street.

Sometimes I worry about ending up paralyzed due to my motocross racing but I have a good neck brace so now the thought isn't in my mind as much, even though I know it's still possible.

I just bought my bike yesterday, I haven't been on two wheels in 3 years. My biggest fear is going through the learning curve I had to go through before.

Hitting a unicorn.

I had a spider crawl down into my ear while riding. I have no idea how I didn't come off the bike. Creepiest thing ever.

biggest fear: fear itself
