What's the Most Comfortable Sportbike?

would you consider a Monster 1100? Not a sport bike in the purest sense, but definitely a sport touring.

comfy and sporty? look no further;)

Hayabusa, get a nice gel seat mod. You can ride that thing from here till eternity

than and a 1" genmar bar riser and a throttle lock.
dunno about "eternity", but good for about 3 to 4 hours anyways.

longest single trip was about 1400 km in a single day. 16 hours of riding (including breaks)

Sporty and Comfortable? Look no further than the VFR. (there's a reason the VFR750 was best 750cc bike for almost a decade)

The 750cc and 800cc V4 engines are bulletproof and known to last forever. They are know to go for well over 50,000kms and not need any valve adjustments. The models with Gear Driven Cams are even more stout and maintenance free. (and sound cool )

The VFR is comfortable with good windprotection, and a middle of the road seating position. (not bolt upright and not leaned way over)

The VFR's have plenty of power with pickup in every gear and almost any rpm. (lots of mid-range) They also have great Fuel Economy and range.

The Single Sided Swing Arm is sexy and makes chain adjustments and tire changes a snap.

...and yes it is classified as a Sport Touring Bike, but it does lean alot towards the Sport side of that category.

I sold my VFR for a Gixxer then sold that for my Thundercat YZF600R. I've kept the Cat for the longest.

It's time I went with something more upright though....

I can't remember exactly what it is...but ask Sundie about his BMW. I was amazed at how comfortable it was when he let me check it out at Mosport. It practically cradles you.
According to his profile it's a BMW K73 which, after some Googling, is apparently the F800R.

This is like asking whos wife is the best lay!!!!! so just go and try a few of em out! Worked for me!

I've ridden mostly standards and cruisers, with only one sportbike - a '97 Honda Blackbird - and have found most of the sportbikes I've ridden to be a tad uncomfortable. Admittedly, I've only tried a few: ZX10, Ninja 900 (?), couple others.
So what's the most comfortable sportbike out there? Bear in mind I'm 52 years old and don't bend like a 19 year-old anymore, lol.

Try the MV Brutale 1090R / RR or 990 R. I have riden all the JAp bike and I own and MV F4 had a brutale when I took my bike for service love the brutale, as it has a sport suspension and 1000 or 1100 cc motor with Brembo brakes and traction control. It will keep up with the 1 litre and blow the 600 away and corners well. I would recommend them over the ducati street fighter.
