I’d agree, if it was a crashed bike repair odds are it would have got a quick repaint, not custom. Especially considering custom paint like that needs a flawless surface to not show quick and sloppy repairs.

I do really dig the colours myself.

And you often would only spray the tank not the fenders and everything. I agree, it doesn't look like a crash repair but motorcycles and paint always sets off alarm bells that then need to be silenced.

likely going to run into the "but it's not a real bike" attitude
hard to justify extra $$ for vanity stuff on a little Japanese cruiser

akin to putting a bunch of expensive stuff on a 20 yr old Hyundai
the quantity of buyers interested in paying any kind of premium for that is vanishingly small
