Nice sunny day I'm stopped at light, flasher on turning left, a BT slowly comes in my lane on right of me, says hello, no probem, now I'm fairly new to riding.

Green light on I slowly turn left, the other bike does also at same time passing me.. no big deal but I'm a new rider could of turned a bit wide seems
he was showing off did have a cute babe on bike that smiled :) carry on

Get used to this and many other incidents that will happen. It happens all the time when your driving a car but people don't seem too concerned, shrug it off and continue, it will make you a better rider.

Ever hear other riders say, " get some track time in and you'll be better on the street", there's much truth to that, if every rider on the track complained about this and that, they would be asked to leave.

I appreciate your post, but I have rode two season's and that was the first time ever happened, I automatically made a tight turn but could of easily made a wide turn..seems everything is common ... did not bother me but sure would of ruined a perfectly good day if turned wide into the othe BT.

Sorry, what's a BT?

I understand, we have all been there, but nothing happened and you saved the day, good job, that's what it's like on the road sometimes.

As a new motorcycle rider, you have to understand that if you don't do the right thing (like turning a tight left corner with another bike on your right) there are bigger consequences than when driving a car.

in other words, there is less room for error.

He shouldn't have passed you going around the left. He should have waited and proceeded behind you.

What can you do: shrug it off.

If I was in your place, I'd have just kept my line and allowed him to make the turn around me, as that was his intent.

Exactly why would an obvious veteran rider endanger 3 people..like I said it was obvious to turn tight, no problem just thought it was not a good thing...

Yes that's for sure

"...an obvious veteran rider..."

who knows, maybe, maybe not, but it was not a safe move on his part

wtf is up with the "could of"s ?

edit: seriously though, I'm glad things went well...I doubt the other guy would have had the brains to understand what would have happened if you took the corner wide...

Thanks, my bike is fairly high and sometimes do corner wide.... but will reframe from my riding storys seems to be too common... first time some one passed me in my lane in middle of cornering, not common for me anyway.
