I knew a guy in grade school and high school. His mother was a Polio survivor. Left her debilitated and hunched over for life; with extreme kyphosis. I have never forgotten it.

There are a few anti vaxxers at my work. Wish I could transfer these memories to them like a Vulcan mind meld. Wake them up.

wife went there for business, if you have questions LMK. as far as i recall they only recently made a highway there, previously you had to drive across a frozen lake.

Yes, I think the road is relatively new. I think they started building it in 2012. I've been looking at some videos on YouTube and it's 2 lanes of gravel for 80 miles.

Would be fun though. It would be nice to dip your boots in the Pacific at the beginning and again in the Arctic Ocean at the end

OMG. I'm in my 50's and am actually old enough to have had Chicken Pox and Measels...

I also had Tetanus as a kid. They think I got that getting my hand sliced open on rusty metal at my grandparents place.
