what product exceeded your expectations

I sense an arguement fomenting. Somebody alert ZX600, get in on the ground floor of Fast Times at Rompmount High.

simpletax.ca

sounds boring, but other software pales in comparison. Excellent job.

nope, they just ask for a donation of what you feel it was worth at the end which is optional. I see a lot of software, its rare someone actually makes something worthwhile.

I agree with the OP - I got one of those 3 channel mini helicopters in my stocking last year for xmas and thought to myself "oh great, here's another crappy toy that won't work properly". I was wrong - I spent the next 2 weeks playing with that thing constantly! I still love it to this day!

I was thinking of getting one of those quadrocopter so I can attach a gopro to it oogling all the sexy girls on my street without setting foot outside.

Myercin serrated edge knife, it will cut high tech rope , has a nice feel of heft in the hand, good grade of stainless so rust isn't an issue but still holds an edge and it will slice cheese and salami as well as pry open a beer.

Shimano XT groupset.

FMJ in 3...2...1....

Not that impressed with the new XT. Hell, not that impressed with the new XTR. It functions well, but it looks hokey.

Campy Super Record/Super Record EPS on the other hand. Pure mechanical porn.

But of course. As the extraordinary becomes ordinary (as it always does) you're assessment will be correct. I bought my XT equipped Thin Blue Line in 1995 and was absolutely amazed how it worked compared to 10 speeds of old. I did not think that was possible. Took a beating for dozen+ years until I converted to single speed.

M737 is pretty much bomproof. I have a 85 Ritchey that has M700 on it and it still works flawlessly. The new stuff is getting a lot of complaints about premature wear.

I guess my standards are too high. Products that I have that I'm happy with have met my expectations, not really exceeded them... things like my WDTV Live, my Pioneer surround sound system, my iPhone, iPad, macbook pro (over 4 years old and still going strong). Products like Seafoam. I recommend all these things to other people (my neighbour swears by seafoam now).

I've always wanted a synthesizer. Exploring Canada Computers, I saw this gem at a SUPER discount price! Normally $100, down to $30 because it was the demo unit.
Turned out it worked just fine and been having a blast on it for he past month!
